Radio Caritas UC 680 AM Paraguay received on August 18 a new 50 kW transmitter that will significantly boost its signal strength and allow it to reach the entire country. The transmitter is Continental Lensa's X.DA-50 model, acquired with the support of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI).
The event was celebrated at the transmission plant in the city of Nemby and was attended by authorities from Radio Caritas UC, the Catholic University and the Archdiocese of the Holy Assumption.
The station previously operated with a 10 kW transmitter. The new equipment represents a five-fold increase in power, significantly extending signal coverage across Paraguay.
