The X.DA-15 is a 15 kW solid-state AM transmitter built for high-coverage regional broadcasters and national networks. Eighteen independent 1 kW power modules are housed in a 24-inch rack cabinet; when a module fails it is replaced individually without specialist tools. The adjustable antenna tuning network allows optimization for the station's specific frequency and for wideband HD Radio® digital operation. Remote control and real-time monitoring are handled via built-in Ethernet, with full digital protections against VSWR mismatch, overcurrent, overtemperature, and supply overvoltage.
