X.DA-50

50 kW AM Transmitter
HD Radio® DRM IBOC compatible

50 kW AM transmitter from the X.DA series for maximum national coverage broadcasters. Three high-capacity rack cabinet configuration. Fully redundant modular architecture — any single module failure reduces power gradually without interrupting transmission. HD Radio® (IBOC) and DRM compatible. Operable at altitudes up to 4,000 m.

The X.DA-50 is the flagship of the X.DA series: a 50 kW solid-state AM transmitter for maximum national coverage and long-distance broadcasting. Its 66 independent 1 kW power stages, distributed across three high-capacity rack cabinets, ensure that a single module failure reduces output power gradually without interrupting transmission; the affected module is replaced individually without specialist tools. Rated for altitudes up to 4,000 m above sea level, the X.DA-50 is built for the high-altitude mountain transmitter sites common across Latin America and the Andes. A frequency response of ±0.5 dB from 20 to 15,000 Hz, HD Radio® and DRM compatibility, and full digital protections are all standard.
